Please help me fix a problem on my tv...?

my tv says "we have downloaded a system software update that is waiting to be installed. The widget gallery will be unavailable until this is completed. please turn your television off, then back on, and press the widget button to complete the update" i did turn it off and back on and i went back on the widget gallery but it still reads the same thing...how do i fix this and is there a widget button on the remote or tv or something...please help.
