Coming to Australia from Canada on a Working Holiday Visa. Will Air Canada let me on the plane? Urgent!?

My son bought his return ticket on AC knowing the return date might change. It did. He simply notified AC in Australia when he knew the new date. No problem whatsoever. No return ticket would be customs issue, not AC's.
